The Scottish Cyber Awards are one of the main cybersecurity awards in Scotland. Hosted by DIGIT, they bring together leaders from industry, government, universities, and the tech sector to recognise organisations and individuals making a real impact in cybersecurity and digital safety across Scotland.

Last week I was honoured to win two awards at the Scottish Cyber Awards.
The first was Best Security Awareness Campaign, for my work through Kids N Clicks raising awareness among parents about online safety, helping families understand how to keep their children safe online while encouraging positive screen use. This was up against some incredible nominees including the University of St Andrews and the Scottish Government’s Cyber Resilience Unit.

The second award was Diversity in Cyber, for a project introducing AI to BME women using unconventional methods, including learning through food. This project was funded by the University of Leeds and was also up against several outstanding nominees including the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier University, Henderson Loggie, and others doing important work in this space.
The awards themselves are supported by organisations across Scotland’s cyber ecosystem, including partners involved in the CyberScotland Partnership, which brings together government, industry, and academic leaders to strengthen cyber resilience across the country. The judges for this award includes the head of cyber defense for Tesco, head of cyber assurance at Wavenrt and many others prominent in the cyber security space.
The event was held at Edinburgh EIC conference and had attended from big corporations like Natwest group, Llyods banking group and many others.
